Overview

In January 2017, Rick and Karen Dalton purchased the Old Stone Church from the town of Essex. Built in 1834, the Church had an Episcopal and Methodist congregation for 90 years until it became an American Legion Hall. It was given to the town of Essex in 1972. For 8 months, the Daltons oversaw major reconstruction for the Church’s integration into the landscape and function of the Essex Inn property.

Downstairs is the Stone Church Suite, 850 sq. ft. of splendor that includes a king-sized bed, walk-in shower, and radiant heat. Breathtakingly restored, the Suite offers a peaceful getaway.

Please Note: Room rates are subject to a 8% New York sales tax, and a 3% county room tax. Nightly room rates are for single or double occupancy. In rooms that accommodate more than two people, additional guests are billed $50 per person, per night. Room rates include breakfast.
